Vigne Lourac Braucol
**Vigne Lourac Braucol**
Tasting Notes:
Pretty colour: a deep, blue-ish ruby. Aromas here are patisserie-meets-sweet shop. Ripe and rich black cherry fruit, a hint of cola, a touch of liquorice. Raspberry, too. Entry is satin-smooth, of dark cherry fruit, but it quickly adds fresh tannins that rear upright, becoming nuttier and more incisive over the course of the long palate. It's a fresh thing and finishes with a mass of fresh, mineral structure that's slightly bitter. It's very much a medium weight wine: barely that on entry. It needs some fatty food. A ragu of some sort would work.
